Satisfaction with Argyll & Bute health services drops by more than a fifth
The most recent Scottish Household Survey found that in Argyll & Bute the percentage of people satisfied with local health services has fallen from 88% to 67% over the last ten years.
Alan Reid says, "When I was the local MP, I received very few complaints about the health service. Now, on the doorstep I'm finding lots of people are waiting a very long time or have to travel long distances for diagnosis or treatment, all while the dedicated staff are run off their feet.
“People in Argyll & Bute deserve better, which is why the Liberal Democrats have published a plan to give patients the healthcare they need when they need it, from GPs to dentists to mental health professionals.”
