Campbeltown Loses Ferry for a Fourth Year

Due to the lack of reliable ferries, CalMac have announced there will be no ferries to Campbeltown next summer – the fourth year in a row this has happened. 

Alan Reid says, “The loss of the Campbeltown ferry for the fourth year in a row is a serious blow to Kintyre tourist businesses, particularly with problems at the Rest & Be Thankful as well.

“It’s vital that new ferries are brought into service as soon as possible so that Campbeltown and other communities can have the ferry service they need.”
